April 2020, "Staff Pick" Project of the Month – GO Contact Sync Mod
For our April "Staff Pick" Project of the Month, we selected GO Contact Sync Mod, a tool for syncing Microsoft Outlook contacts and calendars with Google.
GO Contact Sync Mod seamlessly synchronizes your Microsoft Outlook contacts with your Google Mail address book, including pictures, categories and notes. It also syncs your Outlook Calendar Appointments on demand to Google Calendar. On this day in 1977 the very first annual West Coast Computer Faire was held in San Francisco and attended by over 12,000 people. At the time it was the biggest computer show in the world, held for three days and intended to popularize the use of personal computers at home. That particular year was quite significant as it introduced three of the most popular personal computing systems of all time: the Apple II computer, the Commodore PET, and the Radio Shack TRS-80.
The Faire is considered by many to be instrumental in giving birth to the personal computer industry. It was held for many more years before its last show in 1991.
